Ratlam: The Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna announced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the beginning of the new revolution in the society.
The JDY will usher with new era of economic growth of the common people by adding them with the banking activities. This was stated by the Ratlam city MLA Chetanya Kashyap while speaking at the i9naguration of the JDY in Ratlam district today.
He said that constant efforts are needed to bring changes in the people’s life by PMJDY. Presiding over the programme District Panchayat President Nirmala Patidar said that those accounts holders of the banks should also come forward to add such persons who have no bank accounts at present. Ratlam city Mayor Sheilendra Daga said that good days have begun and the schemes like PMJDY will bring total change in the economic life of the rural people. District Collector Dr Sanjay Goyal said that urban economy and rural economy will come more closure by PMJDY. In the programme 35 persons were given debit card and pass books by the 24 banks. In the programme Titari Sarpanch was also felicitated for his contribution in the PMJDY.
Barwani: State labour and employment minister, Antar Singh Arya flagged off the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan scheme in the auditorium of Bheema Nayak College of Barwani. The new account holders were also provided with bank passbooks and debit cards on the occasion. Before this, residents along with the labour and employment minister, listened to the speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi which was telecasted on Doordarshan. In his speech Antar Singh said that it is a revolutionary scheme and will positively affect the economy in the coming days. Collector Ravindra Singh too apprised the local denizens about the Jan Dhan Yojana which also provides for an accidental insurance cover of Rs 1 lakh. Other people present during the programme consisted of LDM of Raman Kumar Kamble, District Panchayat president Antar Singh Patel, Veera Swami, Ex MLA Prem Singh Patel, Principal of the college NL Gupta, ADM Jayendra Kumar Vijaywat, District Panchayat CEO SPS Chauhan, SDO Dr Abahay Singh Kharari etc.
Dhar: Dhar branch of IDBI, opened 600 new bank accounts on Thursday under the ambitious Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana in a progamme organised to initiate the Jan Dhan Yojana.
“IDBI opened its branch in the year 2013 in Dhar and within a short period of time the bank has given housing loans worth rupees 1 cr, farmer credit cards worth Rs 1.5 cr. Dhar branch has also opened 4000 savings account within this short span of time”, said Branch Manager Raghvendra Kumar Jha.
Gandhwani: A programme was organised at SBI branch where SDM Abhay Singh Ahoriya informed the locals about the Jan Dhan Scheme. Branch Manager of SBI Rakesh Gupta, Manager of Narmada Jhabua Grameen bank TS Nahale too addressed the public and apprised them about the benefits of the Jan Dhan Scheme. 10 accounts were opened on the occasion. The names of the new account holders under the Jan Dhan Yojana are, Mangilal, Dinesh, Govind, Madan, Sharda, Suresh, Shrawan, Arjun, Kalu etc. Number of villagers registered their attendance in the programme with an intention to know more about the Jan Dhan scheme.
Khargone: The town hall premises of the city saw start of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, from the hands of In-charge Minister Vijay Shah, where PM Narendra Modi’s speech was telecasted to the locales through a projector. He said that PM Modi wants facilities to reach to people of the lowest strata of the society.
MP Subhash Patel, District Panchayat President Jagdish Patel, MLA Barwah Hitendra Solanki, District President of BJP Jagdish Patel, MLA Barwah Hitendra Solanki, BJP district president Ranjit Dhandeer, Praksh Ratna Parakhi, Collector Neeraj Dubey and IG NP Warkade and managers of different banks were present on the occasion.
