APS students celebrate birth anniversary of Sardar Patel

Mhow : The students of Army Public School ( APS), Mhow celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on Friday as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas ( National Unity Day). The students participated in the range of activities related to the theme National integration.

Special morning assembly was also organised on the occasion to commemorate 141 birth anniversary of the iron man of India, Sardar Patel. Prabal Bali of class 12th gave an account of the great visionary and freedom fighter. Shivani of class 12th administered oath to the students in which they vowed to be the responsible citizens of India. The students of the Middle and senior wing presented skits in which they rang the message of unity in diversity. The assembly culminated with the ‘ Run for unity’, in which the students of classes 6th to 12th enthusiastically participated.

The assembly was conducted by the head girl Pragya Srikanth.

The principal P K Tiwari reiterated that it was an initiative to instill in the children the feeling of oneness and patriotism.

He enlightened the students towards the great contributions of the iron man and also highlighted his crucial role in the freedom struggle and in unifying India.
