Annoyed over lax working of revenue dept, CM removes PS, CLR

13 IAS officers transferred

BHOPAL : Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, annoyed over laxity in revenue works, has transferred principal secretary (PS), KK Singh and commissioner, land records (CLR), Suhail Ali. The state government on Thursday transferred as many as 13 IAS officers.

Chauhan had expressed his displeasure over working of revenue department in a joint meeting of ministers and officers in the recent past. Chouhan had reprimanded Suhail Ali. Revenue minister Umashankar Gupta too had expressed his dissatisfaction over working of his department’s principal secretary and CLR. CM was informed about revenue department was not cooperating with industries department. Chouhan, considering all these developments, has transferred Singh to Chairman Board of Secondary Education while Ali has been posted as member, Revenue Board, Gwalior.


Arun Pandey has been posted as principal secretary, revenue. Ashok Shah has been made principal secretary of scheduled tribe and scheduled castes department. Sukhvir Singh has been appointed as commissioner, treasury, Kavindra Kiyawat as commissioner-cum-registrar, cooperatives, MK Agarwal as commissioner, land records. Sachin Sinha has been relieved from the charge of director, Academy of Administration and he has been given charge of secretary, backward classes. Sinha will continue with charge of sports department. Similarly, Patiram Katrolia has been posted as deputy secretary, Gopal Chandra Dad as deputy secretary, Nidhi Nivedita as project director, ICDS and Satish Kumar. S. has been posted as chief executive officer, special area development authority (SADA), Pachmarhi. KC Gupta has been given additional charge of managing director, Madhya Pradesh State Warehouse Corporation. Manish Rastogi has also been assigned additional charge of director, Academy of Administration.
