Burhanpur : Anant Chaturdashi was celebrated with full devotion and fervor. The devotees immersed the idols in Jainabaad Khadan Kund and Renuka Lake, the district administration declared places.
The district administration is impressed with the awareness in the devotees as it tried to keep the Tapti river pollution free. Collector J P Irene Cynthia and SP Anil Singh Kushwah kept on inspecting the places for Lord Ganesh idols immersion. The devotees willfully handed over the idols to divers and they immersed the idols in deep water with full respect.
Thikri : Dinesh Bodana Akhada Ustad presented mesmerizing skills which led to huge gathering of people at Chaupati Gandi Chauk on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi. The programme was immensely supported by Ashish Mahajan and Shaulu Mahajan. Rajesh Rathore, Arjun Guddu Bhai, Mukesh, Dilip, Sunil Gupta, Lala Mahajan, Dinesh Khatwarne and police officers supported in managing the peacefully ended programme.
Meghnagar: The full city gave final farewell to the Lord Ganesh idols in grand celebration on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi. All the areas of the city were full of devotional zeal with different kinds of tableaux in the processions of Lord Ganesh idols immersion. One special procession was taken out from Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh Temple. Various Akhadas gave dazzling performances. Continuous rain could not curb the enthusiasm in the devotees and the streak of the idols immersion was on till late night.
Garoth: The 10 days long festival of Lord Ganesh was celebrated with deep devotion. Baba group Bada Ganpati, Jai Shree Mahaveer, Shree Samrath Group Garoth, Navrang Ganesh Utsav, Vinayak Group and other Lord Ganesh utsav celebration committees took out attractive tableaux. Lord Krishna, Sai Baba, Sheshnaag incarnation, Lord Ram and Laxman, Lord Hanumaan, Jamvant and other tableaux dazzle the atmosphere till late night. Sub divisional officer Veer Singh Chauhan, TI Vijay Chaudhary, Village Safety Committee members and police staff manage the occasion.
