Amjhera Road becomes hotspot for robbers

Gandhwani : The route passing through Gandhwani, Sironj, Balledi and Amjhera has become a fovourite spot for robbers who even dare to commit crime in broad daylight on this route.

In a sensational incident, unidentified bike borne robbers intercepted two persons riding on a motorcycle near Sironj village and robbed them.

The loot was occurred with Dipak Parihar of Manawar and Prakash Kag of Anjad when they were riding towards Amjhera to give a wedding invitation of Dipak on their motorcycle MP11MK3708. When they reached near a pond around noon, a youth posing as he was passing urine was standing alongside the road. As the motorcycle passed, the youth shouted to stop.

The youth took out the key soon after Dipak stopped the motorcycle and called his two accomplices.

The three robbers snatched purse of both the victims and looted 4500 and 5000 respectively. Later, the sped away on a motorcycle sans number plate.

Owing to potholed road between Mangod and Gandhwani, this route remains deserted even in day time providing an opportunity to robbers. A case of loot was registered and police are investigating the matter.
