Jabalpur : The advocates in Jabalpur formed a human chain opposing formation of committee by the Chief Justice with regards to Bhopal bench of the high court on Thursday. The chain which measured in kilometers was also supported by local leaders and other citizens.
President of District Advocates’ association Ashok Gupta informed that an eight-member committee has been formed to formulate steps to oppose the decision of the Chief Justice, who has constituted a three member team for the Bhopal circle batch.
The human chain formation started at 1.30pm and extended to all quarters of the square opposing the move. According to the advocates of Jabalpur, the matter relates to integrity of Jabalpur, where MP High Court is situated.
