Dhar : The administration has gear-up to prevent the any incident of child marriage on the occasion of Akshay Tritiya on April 21. The administrative officers of various districts have issued strict instructions in this regards.
Dhar district collector Jaishree Kiyawat has instructed sub-divisional revenue officer to form a team at sub-divisional level to prevent the child marriages on Akshay Tritiya. She also instructed the officers to ensure that no child marriage would take place at any cost.
She also directed that officers from woman and child development, health department, revenue department, education department and police must be including in the team and there must be proper communication among them. The collector also told officers to set up a helpline number so that awareness can be spread among the people.
