BHOPAL: As many as two lakh Adhyapaks, teachers and Gurujis across the state will be given the benefit of pay as per recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan was going to make an announcement in this regard in the ‘Mahapanchayat’ of Adhyapaks but the event has been cancelled.

According to sources, the government has decided to issue the orders after discussing the demands of Adhayapak cadre in the cabinet, without organising Panchayat.

Meanwhile, Karmachari Kalyan Sangh, President, Rameshchandra Sharma, in a press release issued, said that Chief Minister has given instructions to officers to issue orders on December 24.

However, an official of School Education Department maintains that the government has not issued any order in this regard. He said order will be released when CM takes decision, which would go for approval of the Finance Department and then to cabinet.
