Khandwa : An Aanganwadi worker, named Shobha Sonvane, died in an accident. As per the received information, she asked for a lift from a bike rider. The bike rider, namely, Jitendra Dangode, recognised Shobha and offered the lift till Khandwa.
Jitendra tried to overtake a truck (MP-09-KC-8440) but a jeep was already approaching from the opposite side. Till the time he realised, he tried to save himself, during which the bike and Shobha were smashed under the truck. The police have seized the truck and the jeep (MP-09-M-1293) in the custody. Police has sent the body for postmortem and is investigating further.
