BHOPAL: State government on Friday issued official order to provide seven percent hike in dearness allowance to its employees. The fresh hike will be provided from July and paid in August. Finance department said, employees will get the hike in October salary paid in November and before it, the arrears will be deposited in provident fund account. For the employees who don’t have provident fund account, the arrears will be paid in cash, the department said. The hike will be provided to teachers drawing salary as per UGC and AICTE scale and contingency and work- charged employees.
