BHOPAL : Eight pucca houses and 22 shops were razed amidst heavy police presence at Pull -Bogda Bridge in the city on Sunday. Some policemen were injured when people pelted stones. Two people have been arrested in connection with stone pelting.
The Railway is laying a third line from Habibganj to Bina and for that the Pull Bogda has to be widened. Around 55 pucca houses have to be removed to pave the way for the construction of a new broader bridge.
