BHOPAL : Three officers of Indian Oil Corporation Limited and seven others have been convicted by a CBI court on Friday.
Deputy General Manager, (Vigilance) IOCL, New Delhi R.K. Bhan had filed a complaint with the CBI. It was alleged by the complainant that during the period from 2000-2007 the then finance Manager of IOCL Anil Joshi, other OICL officers and other seven private persons entered into criminal conspiracy and unlawfully debited the various amounts from the vendor stock deposit account of IOCL to the account of private persons by preparing forged documents.
After conclusion of trial, the Special Judge, CBI Cases, Bhopal convicted the accused persons vide his order on Friday and awarded the sentences to Anil Joshi, the then Manager,(Finance), Indian Oil Corporation Limited, P.J. Jacob, the then Assistant Manager Finance, LPG Plant, Bhopal. Prashant Saini, the then deputy manager Finance, IOCL, Rajasthan State, Jaipur and seven other private persons.
