BHOPAL: A band of thieves sneaked into three adjacent shops of mobile, electrical goods and grocery respectively located at Chetak Complex under MP Nagar police station and escaped with booty all to the tune of Rs 25,000 during the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.

The incident came to light as a tea vendor informed the spot owners about the incident of theft on Friday morning following which the victim shop owners approached MP Nagar police station and lodged a complaint in this regard.

Police sad the complainants identified as Sanjeet Singh Saini (45), a resident of Alkapuri who owns electrical shop, Sandep Dubey who owns grocery shop ad Rohit Shitlani who owns a mobile shop. Police further said, all the three burgled shops were located adjacent to each other and unidentified thieves entered into the shops after breaking the locks of shutters and took away cash amount of Rs 8,000 from Sanjeet’s shop, Rs 5,000 from Sandeep’s shop and Rs 1,000 and 12 mobile worth Rs 11,000 from Rohit’s shop.
