Barwani : In the public hearing on Tuesday at collectorate around 145 applications were received. Collector Shukla, district panchayat CEO RP asked to send the applications to the related departments and ordered for instant action.

An 87-year-old complained that she gave space to her grandson at her place but after his marriage he encroached upon the place. She also informed that he was not listening to his father as well. In another application, a few villagers complained that they had made a registration under CM’s Gramin Aawas mission a year back but they had not yet gained anything out of it. Villagers of Chikalya complained that handpump mechanic of gram panchayat was missing from his work for the last eight months due to which repairing of handpumps was not done on time and for that they asked to place some other mechanic replacing him.  Villagers of Gram panchayat Borlai and Panchpula complained that a dominant nature was shown when it came to the benefits of Aawas scheme due to which poor were not able to get the benefit out of it. Other such complaints were made in the public hearing for which the collector ordered a quick probe into the matter and take action.
