BHOPAL: Anil (assumed name), a minor from Bhind, was held by the police and ATS on Wednesday on the charge of making a hoax call to Dial 100 regarding bomb at India gate, Delhi. According to press release from PHQ, a call was received by Dial 100 staff of Bhopal on January 25. In that call an unknown informed about a bomb planted at India gate. Police with the help of ATS identified Nihal Singh of Bhind as the caller.
After interrogation Nihal confessed that his 12-year-old son had made the call. Police took the accused under their custody on Wednesday.
In another incident, a woman of Katni was held by police from Lal Parade ground on Tuesday. According to police, Pratibha of Katni reached at Lal parade ground on 11 am and started shouting. She wanted to attempt suicide but was arrested by the cops immediately.
She told to police that her husband was murdered in Katni area while police have not been investigating the case properly.
