New Delhi – Bajaj Auto today reported 1.78 percent increase in total sales in January at 2,93,939 units as against 2,88,746 units during the same month last year.
Motorcycle sales during the month grew by 2.44 per cent to 2,52,988 units as against 2,46,955 units in the same month last year, the company said in a BSE filing.
Bajaj Auto’s commercial vehicles sales stood at 40,951 units compared with 41,791 units in the year-ago period, down 2 per cent.
The company’s exports during the month were at 1,32,069 units as against 1,42,992 units in January last year, down 7.63 per cent, it said.
