After hiring Taimur’s nanny, has Mira Rajput proved to be her hypocritical best?

It is easier to connect Mira Rajput as a person who has shown her hypocrite side without any hesitation and in a very unapologetic manner. Hiring the same Nanny as her husband’s Ex, calling out working women who leave behind their puppies (kids) at home, Mira has had her share of ugly headlines at a very young age. Is there a need for a woman to judge another woman in terms of parenting and multi-tasking? While the straight up answer is NO, consider it coming from someone who married a superstar immediately after completing her education. Why does it irk? Let’s take a look.

A while ago we mentioned of Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput hiring the same Nanny for her kids as Kareena Kapoor Khan. It so happened that Sasha and family were travelling to Singapore to unveil his wax statue at Madame Tussauds. As we know how to paparazzi is on their feet at the airport, a video capturing the Nanny at a distance went viral in no time. While it may seem okay for Mira to hire a nanny for her kids Misha and Zain, it is grabbing eyeballs for a completely different reason.

The video has comments of netizens slamming the young mom for copying Kareena’s parenting ways as Bebo is Shahid’s ex-girlfriend. While some may find it rude, Mira has some contradictory statements in her baggage. In 2017, Mira was addressing a gathering on International Women’s Day. She made a statement which knocked the doors for an unwanted controversy. She was quoted saying, “Empowerment means you have the right to choose. So it’s my choice if I want to be at home. And it’s someone else’s choice if they want to be a working mother. But both are equally valid and neither of them should be shamed.”

“I love being at home, I love being a mother to my child, I wouldn’t want to spend one hour a day with my child and rush off to work, why did I have her? She is not a puppy,” she added.

Meanwhile, Kareena who stepped out just a few days after giving birth to Taimur, gave a befitting reply to the puppy comment. She said, “Yes, I was on my feet a few days after the delivery, but it’s upsetting to have people judge you for it. No one has the right to comment on how I conduct myself or what sort of a mother I am. Everyone seems to have an opinion.” She further added “What kind of a mother I am is something that will unfold with time. I will not scream from rooftops about experiencing motherhood or how much I love Taimur.”

As of now, Mira is assumed to have a better and valid reason to hire the same nanny as Kareena in the first place. Or even better, a nanny to look after her kids since she is happy to be an at home mom. We ask again of all the nanny’s in the world, she picked Kareena’s, a woman whose parenting style she very vocally discourages.

On a side note, there are a larger percentage of women around the world who are hustling on a daily basis to provide the best of care for their kids. A working woman may not have the same choice of staying at home, because she has to feed her kids and that needs some kind of monetary aid, especially for a single mom. A mother would give anything to be with her child round the clock. But guess what, some do not share the same privilege and rush out every day despite the pain of separation even if it’s for a few hours. Being hypocritical and judgemental as a woman for other women is nowhere near to what is being expected from a celebrity wife.
