Mauni Amavasya is considered one of the most significant bathing days of the Kumbh Mela. Devotees believe that taking a dip in the Sangam-the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati-washes away sins and leads to salvation

Before sunrise, sadhus from various sects, including Naga sadhus, marched towards the holy waters in grand processions. Chanting Vedic hymns and carrying religious flags, they led the way for thousands of other devotees

As the first rays of the sun appeared, sadhus immersed themselves in the river, offering prayers and performing sacred rituals. The atmosphere was filled with spiritual energy, as devotees followed suit, believing in the divine blessings of the occasion

Lakhs of pilgrims, saints, and tourists from across India and around the world gathered at Prayagraj to participate in the sacred event

After the holy dip, saints and spiritual leaders conducted religious discourses, reciting scriptures and guiding devotees on the path of righteousness

Mauni Amavasya remains a key highlight of Kumbh, drawing millions of seekers who come to experience the divine and strengthen their faith
