Photos: Hundreds Of Pro-Palestine Protesters Gather At Mumbai Central; Demonstrate Against Israel & US

On Saturday evening, pro-Palestine protesters gathered at Mumbai central in a show of solidarity to Palestinians.

They demonstrated against the war Israel and the USA are waging in the Gaza strip. The protesters raised placards and waved Palestinian flags.

The ongoing conflict in Gaza between Israel and Hamas began on October 7 when Hamas militants infiltrated Israel and launched attacks.

Over 1,400 Israelis were murdered and more than 240 were taken hostage. In response, Israel declared war against Hamas and began the widespread bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

This caused significant casualties among Palestinians. The latest death toll reported by the Palestinian health ministry in Gaza is 17,490, which are mostly women and children.

Israel contends that approximately 1,200 people were killed in the October 7 attack, with around 240 hostages taken by Hamas, of which 138 remain in Gaza.
