'Israel-Iran Like Two Kids In A Schoolyard': Trump On Using F-Word (VIDEO)

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday compared Israel and Iran to "two kids in a schoolyard" and said sometimes one had to use "strong language" to bring them on the right track, as his usage of the 'f-word' speaking to media stirred controversy.

Interacting with reporters after the NATO Summit Trump said, "They have had it. They've had a big fight, like two kids in a schoolyard. You know, they fight like hell. You can't stop them. Let them fight for about two, three minutes. Then it's easier to stop them," Trump said.

NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte who was also present at the press briefing said, "And then daddy has to sometimes use strong language."

“You have to use strong language. You have to use a certain word,” Trump responded.

Earlier on Tuesday, Trump had expressed strong disapproval of Israel and Iran "violating the ceasefire" he announced earlier in the day and said the two countries have been fighting "so long and so hard that they don't know what the f*** they're doing."

Trump reiterated that the US's bombing campaign on three Iranian nuclear sites had set back their nuclear program by "decades."

Israel and Iran exchanged missiles for 12 days, killing hundreds of civilians.
