"Huge traffic along JVLR currently thanks to a small patch of road with moon crater sized potholes which @mybmc claims do not exist and thus don't need fixing! @MTPHereToHelp can you please tell BMC to fix?" tweeted a user.
The user then said that "The traffic was actually because @mybmc "fixed" the potholes by putting haphazardly thrown paver blocks which has made the road WORSE. Nobody wants to drive over this thookpatti so there's only one usable lane.
BMC replied to the complaint and said, "Your call has been conveyed on wireless. The traffic will be returning to normal."
Yellow Alert For Mumbai And Thane Today, Moderate Spell Of Rain Expected

The water level in the seven lakes has reached 50% of their total capacity in the last week of July. However, it's the lowest water stock compared to the previous two years. So, the civic authorities will take a review of rainfall for the next 15 days, to decide about an increase in the existing 10% water cut.
The weather bureau has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai and Thane on Monday which means moderate to light spells of rain in isolated places.
