Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has announced the schedule for supplementary examinations for undergraduate third and fourth-year students.
The exams are set to begin from August 18 and will continue till September 20, covering courses such as BA, BCom, BSc, BHSc and others. According to the university administration, the application process for these exams will begin on July 20.
Colleges have been instructed to collect exam forms from students who failed in one or two subjects. Students will be given 15 days to submit their applications. After this window, late applications will be accepted with a late fee.
Exam controller Prof Ashesh Tiwari stated that around 4,500 students from the third year and 500–700 students from the fourth year are expected to appear in the supplementary exams. He also confirmed that the detailed exam schedule and exam centre list will be released next week.
The university had previously declared the main results for these years in May-June. Students who failed in one or two subjects had the opportunity to apply for re-evaluation and were also shown their answer copies.
Following the completion of the supplementary exams, the evaluation process will begin immediately, with results expected within 25 days.
The university aims to release the results by October. Besides, DAVV is planning to hold supplementary exams for first and second-year undergraduate students in September. Strict monitoring will be in place during the exam period, with observers deployed at various exam centres to ensure smooth conduct.
