Akasa Air Shifts Delhi Airport Operations To Terminal 1D Amid Maintenance At Terminal 2

Mumbai: Akasa Air shifted its operations to Terminal 1 (1D) at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

As Delhi IGI airport’s Terminal 2 has been shut down for maintenance, airlines are shifting their operations to the airport’s Terminal 1. On Tuesday, Akasa Air also shifted its operations to the airport’s Terminal 1 in line with the planned maintenance activity at the airport. In a statement, the airline announced that all Akasa Air flights to and from Delhi will operate from Terminal 1 (1D) until further notice.

Statement Of A Spokesperson From The Airline

“Akasa Air is working closely with airport authorities to ensure that passengers continue to enjoy the seamless boarding experience they have come to expect. Akasa Air is also actively communicating with customers regarding this change to keep them informed,” said a spokesperson from the airline.

The airline also urged flyers to use Akasa Air’s online check-in facilities to streamline the travel process.

On Monday, IndiGo had also announced shifting its operations from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The airline has also started reaching out to all passengers and their travel agents through SMS, calls, and emails to notify them about the change.
