Three policemen gunned down in Karachi

Islamabad: At least three policemen were gunned down Tuesday in Pakistan’s Karachi city, media reported.

Unidentified gunmen shot dead a policeman in Baldia area early Tuesday, Dawn online reported. The deceased policeman was a head constable deployed at a checkpost.

He was travelling to provide security to polio workers when he was gunned down.


In a separate incident, two policemen – a head constable and a constable – who were on a routine patrol were gunned down near Quaidabad by unidentified assailants.
