Yulaw (Jet Li), an ex-officer of the ‘Multiverse Authority’ (MVA) which polices inter-dimensional travel via wormholes decides to kill all other variations of himself in alternate universes to become immortal and ‘The One’. He kills 124 of his other selves and absorbs their life energies. MVA agents Rodecker (Delroy Lindo) and Funsch (Jason Statham) are trying to get him sentenced to life. Last alternate Gabe lives in Los Angeles along with his wife Law (Carla Gugino). On one occasion Yulaw tries to kill Gabe but is saved by Rodecker and Funsch.
