An aromatic affair at Romano’s

What: Romano’s, the specialty Italian restaurant, is all set to bring to the table a unique, first of its kind experience with edible distilled fragrances. These perfumes, distilled in-house by Chef Roberto have used authentic Italian herbs such as Thyme, Rosemary and Oregano. This sensory dining experience called AROMAS created after numerous days of research will allow the guests to pair select fragrances with the food ordered from an exclusive ala carte menu. Each pairing would promise a new experience in each morsel. The never-done-before concept looks to flawlessly bring together a new dimension of innovation and conventional Italian food.  The specially curated ala carte menu will feature an elaborate variety of antipasti (appetizers) such as Butternut squash and almonds with goats cheese, Baby burrata with lychee , Pan seared boneless chicken wings with house made barbeque sauce and Tuna tartar with avocado and yogurt.

The MakhiChoos

What: Musical Comedy play THE MAKHICHOOS starring Bollywood actor Asrani After house full shows all over the country, The MakhiChoos starring Asrani is premiering in Bombay! LCM Entertainment brings to you the comedy king of Bollywood—Asrani starring as Topan Lal in the modern adaptation of the classic comedy – The Miser by Moliere. Be a part of Topan Lal Keshwani’s world. They will sing. They will dance. They will entertain. Topan Lal is obsessed with wealth and is now a widower. He is trying to arrange his marriage with an attractive young woman- Madhuri. A comedy of errors sprouts up when it is revealed that Topan’s son Shikhar is also trying to marry the same girl. Who stole the ten thousand gold biscuits is a mystery yet to be solved. The Hindi Play is a Musical Farce and has never seen before visuals and a Broadway feel to it. It is also open for all ages and is a family entertainer.

Lucknow Street Food Festival

What: A gastronomic sojourn to the land of Nawabs and Awadhi cuisine with the Purana Lucknow Street Food Festival. Having a distinct individuality and identity, Nawabi cuisine is not only about the ingredients but also the way they are made by expert hands and presentation of the dish.

 “Purana Lucknow” is an age-old tradition that relates to having street food through the day. Even though the list of delicacies available on the streets of Lucknow are endless, Chef Shahnawaz Qureshi brings to you a specially curated menu from three major culinary cities in Lucknow, which are Aminabad, Chowk and Hussainabad, showcasing the popular street food culture. This unique food festival will offer a wholesome of traditional dishes like Kakori kebab, Zimikand ki Shikampuri, Nihari Gosht, Tar Gosht, Hara Masala Bater, Desi Murgi ka Salan and many more. The sumptuous array of kebabs at the live station is meant to leave our guests wanting for more.  To add to the overall experience, a customized cocktail menu inspired from Chef Shahnawaz Qureshi’s carefully handpicked spices will also be available.

Parnelane Paramveerchakra Aapo

What: A comic Gujarati play based on two lovers named Aakash and Avni, they were madly in love before marriage but after marriage their relationship​ becomes a​ Relation of Tom and Jerry, not a single day passes​ without quarrel. After a point they don’t want to live together but for some mysterious reason they can’t separate. This comedy of love, break up and patch up is produced by Kaustubh Trivedi and Imtiaz P​atel, S​tarring Vipul Vithlani, Sneha Salvi, Akshay Patel and Kalyani Thaker. The play is written and directed by Imtiaz patel.

MUSITRONIX at Phoenix 

What: Get ready for a fun-filled weekend as Musitronix brings you a two-day multi-genre weekend music festival featuring some of India’s hottest trending acts, everything from Bollywood to Electronic, belt out some awesome tunes for you. On Day 1, India’s Musical Heartthrobs, the awesome foursome headlining act Band SANAM & special Act EUPHONY OFFICIAL, the talented runner ups from ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’ will perform. Day 2, 28th May will be headlined by Bollywood’s grooviest DJ, DJ CHETAS & Special Act the Sensational DJ ANGEL. Band SANAM has been referred to as India’s ‘One Direction’ because of their fast popularity. They are an Indian Pop Rock Band based in Mumbai consisting of Sanam Puri (Lead Vocals), Samar Puri (Lead Guitar and Vocals), Venky S or Venkat Subramaniyam (Bass Guitar and Vocals) and KeshavDhanraj (Drums and Vocals). DJ Chetas is ranked World No. 33 on the DJ MAG Top 100 DJs 2016 list and is ranked India’s No.1 Bollywood DJ.

Saturday Bollywood night @ Canto

What: Why wait for a shaadi to groove on a funky Bollywood number. From Saat Samundar paar to Breakup song every number will be played on your demand. A live DJ with a sound system and those dim lights to keep your secret moves just to yourself. “Canto” a European style Cafe-Bar offering you lip smacking eatables with all day slurping drinks and of course, DJ Vijay will be there to serve you, “your kind of music”.

Morning Ragas by Vidushi Padma Talwalkar

What: Hindustani music carries the tradition of performing a raga at a particular time of the day. The 88th Pratahswar the morning raga series presents renowned Vocalist Vidushi Padma Tai Talwalkar.  The duration of the concert is two hours. It may be noted that “Pratahswar” has never repeated any artiste in all its 87 concerts till date. It has featured artistes ranging from the upcoming brigade such as Samrat Pandit, Sahana Banerjee, Niladri Kumar and Ramakant Gaikwad to veteran musicians such as Hariprasad Chaurasia, Ulhas Kashakar, Ashwini Bhide Deshpande and N. Rajam to name a few.  Pratahswar is considered to be a “Brand Event” in the world of Indian Classical Music having built a loyal audience of about 700 discerning listeners in the early hours of the day.

40 Shades of Grey

What: A fantastically funny stand-up comedy show with two of India’s funniest comedians as they give us their take on life post 40. Catch Cyrus Broacha and Kunal Vijayakar live. Up close and personal. Produced by Raell Padamsee’s ACE Productions. Come join in as they will tickle your funny bone and it will surely be an enjoyable experience.

Drop a Story, Pick a Tale!!!

What: The play has five different stories from the different regions of India. Be it the clever old lady from Maharashtra saving the village from dacoits or the foolish farmers of Moira searching for a unique gift for the king, or the young woman from MP who wanted to buy a song, the Gujarati boy with a resourceful spirit or an absent-minded lad called Sheikh Chilli, the stories are a kaleidoscope of the oldest storytelling tradition of India. Written & Directed by Sheetal Tiwari, the play features Anurag Thakur, Anurag Jha, Sherlyn Menon, Girish Kumar, Trushit Solanki & others

What: Enjoy an evening of gut-busting stand-up comedy. Kaboom and Ratatouille jointly present ‘Brew Haha Coffee and Comedy’ featuring an all-star lineup of 8 new age comedians, to make you laugh your pants off. The jocular gig will be hosted by stand-up comedian, Jeeya Sethi.
