All My Sins – For the Cookie Addict!
“This is my favourite festival and I wanted to do something interesting for it. I thought of giving it a makeover and hence while experimenting Peanut Blossom Modak was born.” says Etee Poddar, the founder of All My Sins. These scrumptious handmade goodies have peanut cookies as its base and a modak shape Hershey chocolate topping.

Caramella – Cheesecake anyone?
If you don’t care about those extra calories then peanut butter modak is a must try! Ketki Barfiwala started Caramella in 2014 with a sole idea to give a makeover to modak. “I wanted to do something offbeat for the young generation keeping chocolate as the base.” says Ketki. We recommend you try out their limited edition Blueberry and Rasberry Cheesecake filled chocolate modaks.

Bliss Over Bite – For the innovative Modak Pops and Modak Shells!
Relish on trunk god’s favourite food in two new forms –a shell or a pop– with Bliss Over Bite. The shell modaks has wafer shells as a base with chocolate modak topping. While the pops comes in white, dark and raspberry chocolate flavours.

Cake A Reuni – For the Calorie Conscious!
Calorie-conscious devotees can ditch the sweet modak for sugar-free options. “During Ganeshotsav, we invariably put on weight, as it is impossible to control eating the assorted varieties of modaks, and so we have introduced sugar-free modaks that contains dates.” Says Nirali Desai, the founder of Cake A Reuni. It has also introduced vanilla cupcake modaks with saffron butter cream and lemon cream modaks.

Brown Spoon – For the ones who love their Paan
Every year, Nishita Dhruv, founder of Brown Spoon, comes up with exciting new flavours for the festival. This year, she has introduced paan, orange and nut flavoured modaks. “I prefer suggesting these modaks for gifting as it can be customized accordingly.”

Nordic Kandie – For the Vegans!
Nordic Kandie Magic has created special Marzepan Modaks for this Ganesh Chaturthi. The Marzepan is made with the finest Mamra almonds from Iran are dipped in Belgian Chocolate. Along with the premium ones, it has 24 carat Gold and 18 carat Silver covered Marzepan Modaks as well.
