Ujjain : The youths of reserved and non-reserved categories, who assembled at the Tower Chowk to pay respects before the statue of Dr Ambedkar on Saturday, said that reservation is not required but equality should be maintained. Free Press talked to some students

“If government implemented reservation properly than reserved categories would be developed successfully and further reservation will not be required. We didn’t get facilities properly for our development as govt. is responsible for that. We don’t have any problem if reservation is provided to needy people.”

Nilima Chouhan,

“Reservation should be maintained as casteismis continued .we don’t have any problem if it removed but what about the trouble which we faced in society. If casteism stopped then no reservation will be required.”

Nilesh Mehra,

22, BCA student

“Reservation should not be continued whether it is in Educational fields or public sectors. Because of variation in cut-off in different types of categories is increased or decreased drastically that’s why our hard work gets worse. We suffered a lot.”
