Ujjain: Many buyer friendly decisions were taken by Ujjain Development Authority (UDA) board of directors in a meeting held on Friday under the presidentship of chairman Jagdish Agrawal. Major decisions among them are removal of compulsory fee that was to be submitted at the time of registration of properties and elimination of 7 per cent of interest added with the revaluation of unsold properties.
The latter decision will significantly cut down the cost of property. Now, buyers will be given a set timeline for submission of amount after the confirmation of property. CEO Abhishek Dubey gave details about different amenities in the proposed divyang park. Along with Aroma Park, orientation, indoor gaming idea music and open air theatre will be constructed for which a detailed project report has been submitted with a budget of Rs 193.27 lakh.
In Mahananda Nagar, two MIG houses are being constructed on green building concept. The project for construction of staff quarters for Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee employees and premises of Vaidik Shodh Sansthan will begin at Chintaman Jawasiya.
Board also shared information about the projects applied for registration with RERA. UDA will now maintain its records digitally, for which scanning will begin soon. Decisions were also taken regarding properties of UDA at Nanakheda bus stand premises and Bharatpuri administrative block. UDA will also inform government about the false complaint registered against it on CM helpline number.
Additional collector Basant Kurre, UMC commissioner Dr Vijay Kumar J, town and country planning officer Sanjay Mishra, SDO forest Shamsher Singh Tomar and others were present.
