Ujjain: Lord Mahakal to appear today in ‘Chandramouleshwar’ look during ‘sawari’


Ujjain: The second ‘sawari’ of lord Mahakal will be taken out on Monday. According to Shrimahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee (MTMC) spokesperson, people will view lord Mahakal in his ‘Chandramouleshwar’ look. However, idol of Manimahesh will also be there. MTMC functionary Santosh Kumar Ujjainiya informed that lord ‘Chandramouleshwar’ will be worshipped according to rituals before ‘sawari’. The police armed forces will offer salute to lord Mahakal at the main gate of the temple, he added. The sawari will travel on pre-decided routes to reach Ramghat where the idols of lord Mahakal will be worshipped.

Nandi hall gets decorated

On the occasion of second ‘sawari of Mahakal, the Nandi hall has been decorated beautifully with flowers by artists of Indore.
