Ujjain: Farmers must link Aadhar to bank a/c by July 31: SBI

Ujjain: Regional manager of State Bank of India, Rajesh Chaurey has called upon farmers to link their bank accounts to their aadhar numbers by July 31, to avail benefits of the ‘Pradhan Mantri fasal beema yojana’.
At a press conference held on Monday, Chaurey said, “To avail of any government insurance scheme, the aadhar has to be linked to bank accounts, Only farmers who have repaid loans of kharif crops, will be eligible for getting benefits of the insurance scheme, after getting a sowing certificate from the patwari, which they will have to present at the SBI branch”. Traders can deposit GST through internet banking and will not have to open a separate bank account, he informed.
A cashless branch of SBI has been opened at Freeganj, where instant facilities are being given for opening a savings account, photo print on debit card, cheque deposit, passbook print and cash deposit for 24 hours.
