Ujjain: A woman conclave was organised by Dharm Vigyan Shodh Sansthan on Sunday. During the meeting three issues — foeticide, suicide and helplessness of women were discussed at length. On this occasion Dr Anita Choudhary stated that suicide is not a solution for every problem and it is just an act of cowardice. Dr Babita Singh in her speech said that abandoned, divorced and struggling women must have knowledge about government’s schemes.
The president of international Bodh Mahila Mandal, Sunita Saxena, informed that problems of foeticide, suicide and women helplessness are grave but the Mandal will help such women. Prerana Dhabhade informed that on this occasion the principal of Nritrya Aradhana Music College, Khushboo Panchal and her group presented a dance. Dr Jaya Mishra also shared her view on this occasion on foeticide. The programme was conducted by Asha Malviya and Archana Shrivastava while vote of thanks was proposed by Radhika Pandya.
