Ujjain: Agriculture minister, Gourishankar Bisen who is on a visit to the city has permitted expansion of land allotted to the Chimanganj krishi upaj mandi, up to Binod mills. The minister who arrived at the mandi to take the stock of arrangements, was welcomed by mandi committee president Bahadur Singh Bormundala. The nod for expansion of the existing mandi premises was given after Bormundala raised a demand for more land. Expansion was also sought up to Naresh ginning Factory. MLA Mohan Yadav was also present.
A demand for a garbage van was made by the representative of Member of Parliament, Satish Rajwani. Vice-president, Sheru Patel, Raghunandan Patidar, Mukesh Harbhajanka, Kanhaiyalal Meena, Shobharam Malviya, Kamal Singh , deputy director of Mandi Board, KN Tripathi, zilla panchayat member, Kishore Sharma, deputy director agriculture SK Sharma , Madhukar Panwar, executive engineer, OP Sharma, Dilip Gupta, Prakash Tallera, Rajendra Rathore and Manish Gawadi were also present. On his arrival, the agriculture minister paid obeisance at the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple and offered prayers there. He also donated utensils to the temple worth over 1.5 lakh.
