BJP has declared party district president Alok Sharma as its candidate for the coming elections. Sharma has already lost from the Constituency in the previous elections and this time also he will try his luck.
Alok Sharma launched Vikas Yatra from Indira Nagar of ward no- 12 and then moved to Kabitpura Gali No- 1,2,3 and other areas of the same vicinity.
Sharma said, ” I got tremendous response from all walks of life. People came for redressal of problems as they are fed up with local Congress MLA. I assured to get the problems solved as I will convey the feedback to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan who himself is taking interest in comprehensive welfare schemes”. Sharma also said, ” Throughout the Yatra, I highlighted the achievements of state government and work done by our Corporartors.
Recently, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan laid the foundation of flyovers.

Similarly, Sharma was welcomed at Kabitpura when he visited there.
Mukesh, Panshop owner, said, ” We are pleased with the working of Alok Sharma as he is a hard worker and is of a helpful nature”. Similar was the view of Mohammed Aijaz, mechanic.
Aijaz said, ” There is no match of Alok Sharma. He is available all the time for the help”.
Vikas Yatra in walled city
