Ujjain : The hamlet of Gudha located near Ujjain will soon witness a remarkable economical growth with its extensive milk production. District administration has planned to provide loans to villagers for buying dairy cattle to produce milk at large scale. Officials also assured to establish a milk processing unit at the village.
Divisional Commissioner Ravindra Pastor and Collector Kavindra Kiyawat visited the village Gudha of Janpad Panchayat, Ghattia, on Friday. Officials discussed the formation of milk committees and ways and means to earn profit by milk production. A plan was discussed with villagers for their economical growth. They promoted villagers to rear animals in large numbers to earn huge profit by milk production. Animal breed improvement and dairy cattle selling will be available to the farmers. A breeder farm will be established with the help of farmers.
Dr Pastor informed that the milk from Malwa is sold in Delhi, Gujarat and other places in association with Ujjain Milk Federation. Malwa milk has its standard and recognition. Milk Federation has initiated a drive to constitute milk committees in villages.
There are 5-6 new committees existing in the village Gudha. They will be provided utensils and other things under the scheme of Zila Panchayat. Committees will also be provided skill training.
