Ujjain: Divisional Commissioner ( DC) and Collector B M Sharma here on Friday visited the rural areas of Tarana Janpad and inspected development works being carried out there. They also addressed a choupal at village Nanded and had discussion with villagers.
They also visited government schools and asked students about their study. DC Pandey visited orange garden planted under the guidance of Horticulture department.
Zila Panchayat chief executive officer Dr MP Patel was also present on this occasion.
DC and Collector inspected Kanya Ashram at village Sumarakheda by Tribal Welfare department and talked girls about the facility provided. They also visited Civil Hospital of Tarana town and expressed anger over not deploying GPRS in Janani Suraksha van. They visited different wards and had discussion with patients.
X- ray register was checked by officials and officials were directed for preparing proposal for purchase of necessary equipments.
Then, they visited Government Girls Higher Secondary School and made discussion with girls of Classes X and VIII. Two girls of class VIII said that they have not given bicycles yet. DC directed all High School and Higher Secondary principals of the district for submitting the proof that they have allotted bicycles to all the girls who deserve that.
DC and Collector also visited Public Service Center and received introduction from staff members. DC asked officials for displaying the services and their charges on the wall. They also turned for Brahmani Mata temple in village Chhadawad and inspected the construction works there. They had a Chaupal at village Nanded where MLA Rodmal Rathore joined them. Addressing on this occasion Rathore said that farmers should take benefits of government scheme as government is approaching to them.
