Ujjain: City congress alleged that BJP is providing misleading information to election commission regarding election campaigns and violating the Modal Code of Conduct (MCC). Acting president of Congress Ravi Rai said that BJP in their state wide jansampark abhiyan set a target to distribute 50,000 pamphlets across the state. If take into account the houses in city they will come out to be more than 1.25 lakh. For covering even Ujjain they need more than a lakh pamphlet.

So BJP is misleading EC and distributing lakhs of pamphlets across the MP, he alleged. He asserted that despite section 144 in force, Paras Jain and other leaders along with workers organising jansampark every now and then. He asked the district electoral officer to count these expenses under the sanctioned electoral expense limit of BJP and to watch the rallies carefully.
