Ujjain : General Secretary of Akhada Parishad, Avdheshpuri Maharaj inspected the banks of the Kshipra river on Saturday.
He expressed his concern over continuing deaths of devotees in the river while taking a holy bath. He was accompanied with officials of the district administration and Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC). Municipal commissioner Vijay Kumar J informed that a permanent railing and holding chains will be installed at every bank of the river soon.
Additional commissioner Vishal Singh Chouhan, executive engineer Dharmendra Verma, health officer Mehte, assistant engineer Rajeev Gayakwad, sub-engineer Javed Qureshi swami Pragyanand, Anupamram Maharaj, Shyambaba and swami Kamlesh Brahmchari were present.
