  • Ujjain: Congress seeks support for bandh, takes out rally

    Akhil Bharatiya Congress Committee gave a Bharat bandh call over hike in fuel prices and alleged corruption in Rafael deal.  District Congress committee urged businessmen, public transporters, schools and petrol pumps to shut their work to protest against the issues associated with public interest.   • Ujjain: SIMI activists awarded rigorous imprisonment

    SIMI activists Mohammad Shafi son of Abdulbari Ansari resident of Fazalpura and Mohammad Akil Qureshi son of Rafeek Qureshi have been convicted by the district court on Friday.     Ujjain: Municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal on Tuesday inspected Neelganga pond from where encroachments were razed recently. She issued an order of demarcation of the pond to SDM and patwari.
