    Thane: Man held for killing his mother-in-law

    Thane: The Thane Kasarwadavli police have arrested a 32-year-old man for allegedly killing his mother-in-law and pushed her from first floor flat. The incident took place at Rumabai society in Kasarwadavli area, Thane on Monday night. Police said the arrested accused have been identified as Ankush Bhatti, 32. A case was registered at Kasarwadavli police under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code.

    Thane: A 32-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly killing his mother-in-law after a quarrel with her here in Maharashtra, police said. The 68-year-old victim, Kamaljit Kaur, went to her son -in-law Ankush Batti’s home Monday to enquire about her hearing and speech-impaired daughter, whom Batti was allegedly harassing, Thane police spokesperson Sukhada Narkar said.

    Thane (Maha): A 23-year-old auto-rickshaw driver was arrested Thursday here in Maharashtra for allegedly killing a man who was in love with the former’s sister, police said.
