  • Bhopal: Murderous assault on contractor over business rivalry

    BHOPAL: A 32-year-old contractor was attacked by seven persons due to a business rivalry under Gunga Police Station area on Thursday. He has sustained grievous injuries. He was admitted to Narmada Hospital and the police have registered an attempt to murder case against all the seven assailants, named by the victim in his report.

    BHOPAL: As many as seven persons had died in the flood after incessant rainfall leading to water logging in July but the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) council on Thursday passed the agenda to give ex-gratia of Rs1 lakh and allot a house only to the bereaved family of Deepak Sahu who had drowned in flood in on July 11. Sahu was a resident of Rajiv Nagar in Kotra Sultanabad.
