    On summer camp, three students from Chennai school drown in Pune dam

    Pune: Three students from a Chennai school, who had come to Pune in Maharashtra for a summer camp with their classmates, drowned in the Mulshi dam, located around 50 kms away from here, police said on Thursday. The deceased trio were part of a group of 20 students of Chennai’s ECS Matriculation school who were visiting the dam along with their teacher.

    Mumbai: BMC plans Rs 4 crore picnic for school students

    Mumbai: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) now has plans to take civic school students of classes four and seventh to an educational theme park ‘Kidzania’ situated at Ghatkopar R city mall, Mumbai, on a school picnic. The proposal would be tabled in the Standing Committee on Wednesday.

    Burhanpur: Following a government notification to link aadhar card of school students with the working kitchens under the mid-day meal (MDM) program, Burhanpur district panchayat CEO Amitabh Sirbaiyya instructed the project coordinator and development block source coordinator of Burhanpur and Khaknar to ensure the proceedings for linking all the students and working kitchens with Adhaar Card.
