    Mumbai: A lethal fire broke out in a ‘farsan’ eatery-cum-workshop at Sakinaka on Monday at 4.17 am, killing 12 people and leaving one person, Akhilesh Tiwari, seriously burnt. The shop in Makaria Compound on Khairani Road was spread in a 16,000 sq. feet area.     Mumbai: The victims of Bhanu Farsan fire tragedy of Sakinaka, died due to choking on smoke, rather than due to burns. The sole survivor of the tragedy said that absence of an escape route resulted in death of all the victims who were sleeping. The doctors said 12 people succumbed to burn injuries and suffocation after a major fire broke out in a farsan shop on Monday.
