    Mumbai: The National Green Tribunal (NGT) Principal bench, New Delhi, on Thursday disheartened Mumbai-based activists hoping to save Aarey from destruction. Vanshakti, an NGO approached NGT with a prayer to direct the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL) undertaking the Metro 3 line (Colaba-Bandra SEEPEZ) from carrying the metro car shed work, as it will destroy the green lungs of city.

    Mumbai: Transgender arrested for molesting girl in Kandivli

    Mumbai: Charkop Police arrested a transgender for molesting a minor on Thursday afternoon. According to police sources, the incident took place in Charkop, Kandivli (W), at the victim’s house. The accused came to the victim’s house to offer blessings in exchange for cash, and allegedly touched the minor inappropriately.

    Mumbai: On Thursday evening, the skeletal remains of a woman were found near the railway tracks of Malad railway station.     New Delhi: Several passengers on a Jet Airways flight from Mumbai to Jaipur suffered nose and ear bleeding Thursday after the crew “forgot” to turn on a switch that controls cabin air pressure, officials said. “During climb, the crew forgot to select bleed switch due to which cabin pressurisation could not be maintained. As a result, oxygen masks got deployed,” the official at aviation regulator, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, said.
