  • India, Kazakhstan conduct joint military exercise Otar

    Kazakhstan: India and Kazakhstan on Tuesday conducted a joint military exercise, Kazind-2018, in the Otar region of Kazakhstan. The fourteen-day joint training aims to build and promote army to army relations and exchange skills and experiences between Indian Army and the Kazakhstan Army. The Indian contingent was represented by 5 Ladakh Scouts Regiment while the Kazakhstan side was represented by Military Base 85395.

    New Delhi : The Indian Army will  carry out a joint military exercise with the US army at the Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington, from September 14 to 17 as part of the ongoing Indo-US defence cooperation.

  • India-China military exercise

    NEW DELHI: India and China will hold a 4-day joint military exercise in Pune from November 3. The original venue for this exercise was Bathinda in Punjab but China felt the city was too hot and preferred Pune. Observers said China may have asked for shifting of the venue to avoid sending its army personnel to the Pakistan border.
