    MANDSAUR : A crucial meeting of State Plan Panel was held at district head quarter here on Thursday in which various proposals of Mandsaur, Ratalm and Neemuch district were discussed. With little amendments, various proposals of these district were approved for the financial year of 2016-17.

  • City may have to wait for a week for rains

    BHOPAL : The western parts of the state, including Bhopal, may have to wait for rains for at least a week as there is no system over Gujarat or Rajasthan as of now.

  • Break in wet spell brings respite in state capital

    BHOPAL : It was a brief respite from continuous rain for the denizens of the state capital on Tuesday. However, isolated light showers lashed the city in the meantime. The weatherman has forecasted rain activity to resume after next couple of days.

  • Safety instructions released for monsoon season

    Mandsaur :  Safety instructions have been released for the villages surrounding Gandhi Sagar reservoir for the coming monsoon season. The executive engineer of Gandhi Sagar Dam Division has asked the officials to follow the safety guidelines seriously. Officials and employees have been asked to remain on duty during the season.

    Pipalia Station :  The candidates appeared in the Home guard recruitment for year 2016 registered their displeasure over with proper reason rejection of their forms by the officers and accused cheating in the recruitment.

  • 7.23 lakh saplings planted in div

    Ujjain : Forest department organised an extensive plantation programme across the division. About 7.23 lakh saplings were planted across the division on July 31, 2014. The initiative will be recorded in Guinness Book of World Records.

  • Workers oppose privatization of Rajasthan roadways

    Mandsaur : The roadways workers of Mandsaur, have announced a strike due to the privatization of the Rajasthan   roadways. Due to this strike, around 22 buses of the city have stopped functioning.
