    Mumbai: State-run Shivaji University in Kolhapur on Wednesday signed an MoU with Mumbai-based S P Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) for faculty development, case writing and select social initiative.     Aurangabad Riot: Muslim legislators demand action against Shiv Sena leaders

    Mumbai: Several Muslim legislators protested on Tuesday at Mantralaya over the alleged involvement of Shiv Sena party workers and police officers in the Aurangabad riots. The legislators claimed they were denied a meeting with chief minister Devendra Fadnavis despite prior appointment being taken.     Maharashtra: WhatsApp group admin assaulted after member’s removal

    Mumbai: The ‘administrator’ of a group on the popular messaging platform WhatsApp was assaulted at the behest of a member who was incensed by his removal from the group, the police have said. Ahmednagar-based Chaitanya Shivaji Bhor, 18, was attacked by three persons with a sharp weapon, a senior police official told PTI. The incident occurred at a mess on the night of May 17 on the Ahmednagar-Manmad road.
