  • Pilgrim suffers cardiac arrest at Mahakal temple

    Ujjain: Ajay Sharma, a resident of Vadodara, Gujarat suffered cardiac arrest inside the Mahakaleshwar temple on Wednesday. Sharma was residing in the Mahakaleshawar Dharmshala where he complained of uneasiness and trouble breathing. He was immediately taken to the Civil Hospital, by the temple ambulance, where he is under treatment. Sharma was visiting the city alone.

    Ujjain: The sequence of donating silver to Mahakaleshwar Temple is continued as devotees donated about 2 kg silver at the temple, here on Tuesday. The silver being donated by devotees to the temple will be utilised in coating the walls of sanctum sanctorum of the temple in view of Simhastha Fair-2016.     Ujjain : A Hyderabad based resident fell unconscious at the waiting queue of Mahakaleshwar Temple here on Sunday. The victim Anjani son of Kiran Reddy a resident of Hyderabad was rushed to Civil Hospital by the police, where he was given treatment. Doctors said the victim suffered heatstroke and had elevated blood pressure.

  • Mahakaleshwar temple security guard dies on duty

    Ujjain: A 52-year-old security guard (Nagar Sainik) died of heart attack while on duty at the Mahakaleshwar Temple. The deceased, identified as Haricharan Patel, collapsed around 8 am while he was serving at the entry point at the main entrance of the temple. Patel reportedly developed serious congestion in his chest and collapsed on the floor. He was immediately rushed him to Civil Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
