  • Bank issues notice to royal family of Rajkot

    Ahmedabad/Rajkot : HDFC Bank on Thursday issued a recovery notice to the scion of the erstwhile royal state of Rajkot — businessman Mandhatasinh Jadeja and his father and former state minister Manoharsinh Jadeja, for failing to pay an outstanding loan of Rs 4.61 crore. The notice was issued in a local newspaper of Rajkot today by HDFC Bank’s Bodakdev branch in Ahmedabad.

  • Cong seeks total crop loan waiver in State

    Yavatmal : The State Congress has demanded a total waiver of crop loans and grant of fresh loans for farmers in the state. Former Maharashtra Congress chief Manikrao Thakre, addresssing a press conference here, said Maharashtra needed Rs 50,000 crore for the loan waiver and equal amount for releasing fresh crop loans.
