    Lahore: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife Kulsoom Nawaz will be laid to rest here on Friday. A flight carrying Kulsoom Nawaz’s casket landed in Lahore from London in the morning. Her body was received by members of the Sharif family, including PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif’s son Hamza Shahbaz, Dawn online reported.

    Karachi: The mortal remains of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, the wife of jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, will be flown to Pakistan on Friday. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday took to Twitter to inform that the funeral prayers for Begum Kulsoom will be held in London at the Regent Park Islamic Centre on Thursday at a local mosque, reported GeoTv.

    London: Former three-time Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife, Kulsoom Nawaz, breathed her last at a London hospital on Tuesday. She was 68 years old. Geo News reported that the health of Kulsoom, who was admitted at London’s Harley Street Clinic for cancer treatment in June, deteriorated last night. She was placed on life support earlier in the day. Sources added that she had also developed a lung-related problem.

    London: Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of jailed Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has regained consciousness but she is still on ventilator, said Sharif’s son Hussain Nawaz. Hussain informed that his mother was able to recognise family members and could now communicate with them through gestures. However, she was unable to speak, Samaa TV reported quoting Hussain Nawaz.

Wish you become healthy again by the grace of Allah,” Geo TV quoted General Bajwa, as praying for Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.
